Do I need a passport?
The Chancellor’s Certificate in International Trade is an online program offering a practical curriculum for executives, managers and employees who conduct business or plan to work in international markets. It is a tactical, low-cost, high-quality way to prepare and excel in international business markets.
The program is offered by the World Trade Center St. Louis and the Office of International Studies and Programs, UMSL, with assistance from qualified international consultants and professionals at regional companies already engaged in business overseas.
The program consists of 6 modules. All of the modules are online, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and at a time and place that works best for them.
The six modules are:
- Introduction to International Trade
- International Transactions
- International Ocean & Air Transportation
- International Business Culture
- Export Control & Risk Management
- Customs Classification and Valuation
Modules are available for two weeks with a break in between each module. All six modules must be completed to earn the Chancellor’s Certificate. However, participants may choose to take specific modules separately. Currently, the cost for all six modules is $1,800 or each module can be taken individually for $350 per module.
Upon program completion, you will be equipped with knowledge and credentials to help you and your organization successfully conduct business in the competitive global marketplace.
