Academic Partnerships
MODERN COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND SCIENCE (MCBS)The University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Modern College of Business and Science of Muscat, Oman entered into an academic affiliation agreement on August 9, 1996. The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is a two-year college offering eleven academic programs. Among these programs, four University Transfer Programs enable students to transfer into the baccalaureate program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Students graduating from MCBS are guaranteed admission at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, provided they meet certain academic requirements.
The University of Missouri-St. Louis assisted the Modern College of Business and Science in developing programs in Business Administration, Computer Science and Economics. The University of Missouri-St. Louis evaluates and monitors the quality of MCBS graduates ensuring that those graduates are sufficiently prepared to continue their studies in four-year baccalaureate program in the United States.

GULF UNIVERSITY FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (GUST)
The University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) and the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) have entered into a multi-year cooperation agreement.
The agreement calls upon the Center for International Studies at UMSL to assist GUST with the development of academic programs, curriculum, staff and faculty recruitment, organization and structure. A key part of this cooperation is for UMSL to assist GUST in relation to quality assurance and to provide advice regarding academic, student services, curriculum and course review processes.
The agreement also provides a dual enrollment option for qualified GUST students. Participating GUST students may enroll at both GUST and UMSL. GUST students who are dual enrolled may transfer to UMSL and complete their studies in the USA.
