Pamela Ashmore

The Associate Director of the Center for Human Origin and Cultural Diversity is an Associate Professor in Anthropology and Education at the University of Missouri- St. Louis. She holds a Ph.D. from Washington University and her area of specialty is biological anthropology. Her research is focused on the behavior and ecology of Old World monkeys and defining how closely related species adapt differently to their environments. As the Associate Director of the Center, she has been conducting hands-on educational programs and workshops for middle and high school students as well as their teachers.
