Directions to the UMSL Softball Field

The University of Missouri-St. Louis Softball Field is located just off Florissant Road, less than five miles from Interstate 70. For directions to the other UMSL Athletic Facilities, Click Here.

There are numerous construction projects currently underway in the area, some affecting travel to the UMSL Campus (see below), including the I-70/Florissant Road interchange which is the exit to the University.

Directions to the UMSL Softball Field:

From the East/South (I-70-Indianapolis/I-64-Evansville):
Take I-70 West/I-64 West towards St. Louis. These interstates will merge and cross the Mississippi River via the Poplar Street Bridge. Once across the Mississippi River, take the exit for I-70 West (Kansas City). Stay on I-70 West for approximately 15 miles to Exit #240 - Florissant Road (Hwy N)/University Blvd. DO NOT confuse this with the exit for West Florissant Ave. which is closer to downtown, be sure to go to Exit #240 - Florissant Road/University Boulevard. From the exit ramp, turn left at the stop light onto Florissant Road. Go straight through the first stoplight and continue following Florissant Road. After going under an overpass, the first road on the left will be Rosedale Drive. Turn left onto Rosedale and proceed up the hill. The entrance to the Fine Arts Building and the UMSL Softball Field will be the first drive on your left.
 
From North/East (I-55-Chicago):
Take I-55 South towards St. Louis. Merge onto I-70 West towards St. Louis. Stay on I-70 West across the Mississippi River. Once across the Mississippi River, take the exit for I-70 West (Kansas City). Stay on I-70 West for approximately 15 miles to Exit #240 - Florissant Road (Hwy N)/University Blvd. DO NOT confuse this with the exit for West Florissant Ave. which is closer to downtown, be sure to go to Exit #240 - Florissant Road. From the exit ramp, turn left at the stop light onto Florissant Road. Go straight through the first stoplight and continue following Florissant Road. From the West (Kansas City, Mo.):
Take I-70 East towards St. Louis. Go past Lambert St. Louis International Airport. Take Exit #240 - Florissant Road/University Blvd. From that exit ramp, merge right onto Florissant Road. Go straight at the first stop light and follow Florissant Road. After going under an overpass, the first road on the left will be Rosedale. Turn left onto Rosedale and proceed up the hill. The entrance to the Fine Arts Building and the UMSL Softball Field will be the first drive on your left.
 
From South (I-44-Springfield, Mo.):
Take I-44 East towards St. Louis. Once you get to St. Louis, take I-270 North. Follow I-270 North to I-70 East (St. Louis). Take I-70 East towards St. Louis. Go past Lambert St. Louis International Airport. Take Exit #240 - Florissant Road/University Blvd. From that exit ramp, merge right onto Florissant Road. Go straight at the first stop light and follow Florissant Road. After going under an overpass, the first road on the left will be Rosedale. Turn left onto Rosedale and proceed up the hill. The entrance to the Fine Arts Building and the UMSL Softball Field will be the first drive on your left.
 
From South (I-55-Memphis, Tenn.):
Take I-55 North towards St. Louis. Once you get to St. Louis, take I-270 North. Follow I-270 North to I-70 East (St. Louis). Take I-70 East towards St. Louis. Go past Lambert St. Louis International Airport. Take Exit #240 - Florissant Road/University Blvd. From that exit ramp, merge right onto Florissant Road. Go straight at the first stop light and follow Florissant Road. After going under an overpass, the first road on the left will be Rosedale. Turn left onto Rosedale and proceed up the hill.
