Tim Smith played two seasons at UMSL in 1972 and 1973, and was a member of the men’s soccer national championship team in 1973. He ranks 13th in the UMSL career scoring list with 46 career points on 18 goals and 10 assists. Tim led the national championship team in scoring in 1973 with 13 goals, which still ranks as the sixth best single season total in UMSL history. His 34 points that season ranks as the fifth best point total in a single season as well. Tim holds individual single game records for most goals with four in one game, and for most points in a game with ten. |
