Jim Dix was the head coach of the UMSL baseball program from 1976-85, finishing his ten-year career with a record of 239-175. He led the program to five NCAA Tournament appearances in his ten seasons, including four-straight appearances from 1976-79. Dix led the team to the College World Series in 1977 where the team finished third in the country. He also coached the team to its first MIAA Championship in 1984. |
