Laurie Aldy-Kuchno - Women's Soccer/Softball

Laurie Aldy-Kuchno was a two-sport athlete at UMSL in both softball and women’s soccer. She became the first female athlete in UMSL history to receive All-American honors, achieving that feat in softball during the 1987 season when she was named second team All-American.

Aldy-Kuchno was also a three-time all-conference selection and two-time all-region selection in softball. She is second in the single season records for runs scored with 51 in 1986, third in triples with six in 1986, and fourth in single season stolen bases with 20 in 1987. In the career records, Aldy-Kuchno is third in career runs with 106, fourth in triples with nine, seventh in hits with 135 and is the all-time stolen bases leader with 42 career steals.
