On Friday, January 19, the UMSL women's soccer team joined Fredbird from the St. Louis Cardinals, families of local area U.S. Marines, 550 KTRS Radio and Office Max in part of Operation: Help Iraqi Kids. The goal of this fundraiser was to collect soccer balls and school supplies that will be sent to Iraq and given out to some of the children in Iraq.
