UMSL Splits Conference Matches Riverwomen Beat Saint Joseph's; Fall to Lewis St. Louis, Mo. – The UMSL women’s tennis split a weekend conference matchup, dropping a 6-0 match against Lewis, but came back to beat Saint Joseph's 6-0 in an afternoon match. Lewis won all six singles matches against the Riverwomen to win the morning contest. Devin Foy (Belleville, Ill./Belleville East) had the closest match for UMSL, falling in three sets 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 at the three singles spot. Against Saint Joseph's, UMSL controlled most of the match, winning all six points. Devin Foy teamed up with Chrissy Duffy (St. Louis, Mo./Lutheran South) for an 8-1 win at one doubles and the Riverwomen won five singles matches for a 6-0 victory. The Riverwomen are now 2-4 on the season and will be in action at home again this weekend. UMSL will host Bellarmine on Saturday at 9 am, and then host Northern Kentucky on Saturday at 3 pm.
