Southern Indiana Beats UMSL 3-0

Riverwomen Fall to Screaming Eagles

Evansville, Ind. – The Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team fell 3-0 at Southern Indiana on Saturday afternoon, losing 30-26,30-25, 30-21 to the Screaming Eagles.

Gillian Falknor (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Groves) led UMSL with 12 kills and nine digs in the match, and Kathryn Freeman (Goodyear, Ariz./Centennial) had 11 kills. The Riverwomen had 24 hitting errors in the three games while USI had just 16 errors.

UMSL falls to 8-12 on the season with the loss, and fell to 5-7 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Missouri-St. Louis will wrap up the regular season next weekend when they travel to play at Wisconsin-Parkside and at Lewis.
