Riverwomen Improve to 8-1 on the Season

Conway, Ark. – The UMSL volleyball team kept their winning streak going, notching their seventh straight win on Friday, beating Mississippi University for Women 3-0 (31-29, 30-16, 30-22).

Freshman Gillian Falknor (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) led UMSL with 11 kills in the match and also recorded 12 digs. Ashley Richmond (Milford, Ohio/Milford) recorded 25 assists and the Riverwomen notched nine service aces as a team.

UMSL is now 8-1 on the season and will continue their weekend play Saturday when they fave Arkansas Tech and Central Arkansas.
