| UMSL Falls to Southern Indiana Riverwomen End Season with 3-1 Loss Evansville, Ind. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team lost 3-1 at Southern Indiana on Saturday afternoon, ending their season one game short of qualifying for the GLVC Tournament. Southern Indiana took each of the first two games by scores of 30-15, 30-21, but the Riverwomen were not going to give up easily. UMSL fought back and won the third game 31-29 before eventually falling 30-20 in the fourth game. Nikki Pagels (Fox River Grove, Ill./Cary Grove) led UMSL with 11 kills on the day, and Kathryn Freeman (Goodyear, Ariz./Centennial) and Melissa Frost (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) each had 10 kills and Frost added five total blocks in the game as well. UMSL ends their season with a 13-14 overall record and a 4-10 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Confernece as UMSL fell one spot short of a bid to the GLVC tournament.
