UMSL Sweeps Maryville in Home Opener

Rivermen Dominate in Win

The UMSL men's tennis team played their spring season home opener non-spring like weather, defeating Maryville 9-0 on Friday.

The Rivermen swept all six singles matches, with the closest set in any of those matches being 6-3. The closest doubles match was at one doubles, where Francis Lam and Ryan Burgdorfer teamed up for a 9-8 (6) win.

UMSL will be at home again on Saturday morning against Olivette Nazarene at 9:30 am.
