UMSL's Lam Named All-Conference Selection

Junior Earns All-Conference Honors for Second Straight Year

St. Louis, Mo. – University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s tennis player Francis Lam was named an All-Conference selection by the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It is the second year in a row that Lam earned all-conference honors and it marks the tenth consecutive season the UMSL men’s tennis program has had an all-GLVC selection.

Lam, a junior, was the number one singles player for UMSL all season, finishing with a 9-10 overall record in singles matches and was 3-2 in conference singles matches on the year. In doubles play, Lam was 16-11 overall, including ten wins at the number two doubles spot. Lam was a big part of the UMSL success this season, recording both a singles win and a doubles win in all six team victories on the season. In his three years at UMSL, Lam has posted a 34-22 record in singles matches and a 36-38 record in doubles matches.
