UMSL Sweeps Past Bellarmine

Rivermen Beat Knights

St. Louis, Mo. - The Missouri St. Louis men’s tennis team swept all nine matches against Bellarmine, winning 9-0 over the Knights.

UMSL won all three doubles matches, with the only close match coming at three doubles. The Rivermen also swept all five singles matches, as Stephen Pobst (Sikeston, Mo./Sikeston) won 6-0, 6-0 at three singles, as did Rajan Saini (Victoria, British Columbia) at six singles. The other four singles matches were all two set wins as well, with the closest to going three sets was at two singles where Mike Schaaf (St. Louis, Mo./Francis Howell) won 6-0, 7-6 (2).
