| UMSL Beats Rolla 9-0 Rivermen Keep Rolling with Another Win St. Louis, Mo. – The UMSL men’s tennis team continued rolling along, recording a 9-0 win over UM Rolla on Tuesday afternoon. UMSL won all three doubles matches, with the last two fairly close. UMSL's number one doubles team of Martin Kardos and Matt Vaulkhard continued their hot play, winning 8-2. The Rivermen then took the two doubles match 8-6 and the three doubles 8-5. In the singles matches, the Rivermen again rolled through the Miners, winning every match. Martin Kardos played at one singles and recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win while Matt Vaulkhard got a 6-0, 6-1 win at two singles. Mike Schaaf had the toughest match at three singles, winning 6-3, 6-3. Martin Damm got a 6-0, 6-3 win at four singles, Rajan Saini won at five singles 6-0, 6-0 and Stephen Pobst won 6-2, 6-2 at six singles. UMSL will be in action this weekend with two matchs, facing Northwest Missouri State on Friday and Emporia State on Saturday.
