| UMSL Cruises to 9-0 Win Rivermen Beat Central College St. Louis, Mo. - The UMSL men's tennis team cruised to an easy 9-0 win over Central College on Sunday evening, winning all three doubles matches and each of the six singles matches as well. The Rivermen won each of the doubles matches by identical 8-2 scores. UMSL's number one doubles team also go wins at the first two singles spots, as Matt Vaulkhard got a 6-2, 6-1 win at one singles and Martin Kardos got a 6-0, 6-2 win at number two singles. Martin Damm had a tougher time at three singles, winning 6-1, 3-6, 10-2 and Mike Schaaf also took three sets for the win at four singles, winning 6-7, 6-1, 10-3. Rajan Saini had the quickest win with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at five singles and Stephen Pobst won 6-1, 6-4 at six singles. UMSL is now 2-0 on the season the season and will play UM Rolla on Tuesday, March 11, and the host DePauw on Friday, March 14. RECAP UMSL 9, Central College 0 Doubles: 1.
