| Rivermen Tie 25th-Ranked Wisconsin-Parkside St. Louis, Mo. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s soccer team battled stormy weather and the 25th-ranked Rangers, settling for a 1-1 tie in a game that was called with 4:13 left in the first overtime period due to lighting in the area. The Rivermen got on the board quickly in the first half, scoring in the third minute of the game. Jared Smith (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) had a throw in from the sideline that got to the middle of the box where Colin Huber (Fenton, Mo./Rockwood Summit) headed it past the goalkeeper for a 1-0 UMSL lead. UWP would come back to tie the game in the 14th minute, getting a goal from ten yards out to make it a 1-1 game. Neither team could find the net in the second half, forcing the game into overtime. With 4:13 left in the first overtime period, officials pulled both teams off the field due to lighting in the area, and after a 50-minute delay, the game was called a final with the score 1-1. UMSL

be at home again on Sunday afternoon when they host Lewis University
