| UMSL Win Streak Snapped by 4th-Ranked Cougars St. Louis, Mo. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s soccer team saw their three-game winning streak come to an end with a 3-0 loss to visiting SIU Edwardsville on Sunday night. The Rivermen had won each of their first three games to start the season before falling to the 4th-ranked Cougars. SIUE got the first goal in the 24th minute and added to that shortly before the end of the half on a goal by Dusting Attarian. UMSL bounced back strong in the second half, recording four shots on goal in the second half, but could not sneak the ball past the SIUE goalkeeper. The Cougars then added a goal in the 88th minute to secure the 3-0 win. The
Rivermen fall to 3-1 on the season and will be in action again when
they host Truman State on Sunday, September 10, at 12 pm.
