UMSL Men's Soccer Signs Three Players

Rivermen Add Three Players for Next Season

St. Louis, Mo. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s soccer head coach Dan King has announced the signing of three recruits for the 2006-07 school year. The Rivermen have signed local players Joe Randazzo (Florissant, Mo./Hazelwood Central) and Dan Muesenfechter (O’Fallon, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt North), as well as Blair Spencer (Chatham, Ill./Glenwood HS) to play next season.

Muesenfechter has strong ties to UMSL soccer, as his father was a two-time All-American for the Rivermen and his sister, Krisie, just completed her first season for the UMSL women’s soccer team last fall. Muesenfechter is a midfielder who can also play the forward position and has experience on the Scott Gallagher Club Team. Randazzo is also a club player for the Scott Gallagher club team and plays the back position. Spencer is another midfielder who can also be a front-runner for the team and helped lead his high school to the 2005 Illinois State Championship.
