Jujic Earns All-Conference Honors

UMSL Senior Named GLVC Honorable Mention Selection

St. Louis, Mo. – UMSL men’s soccer player Alen Jujic (St. Louis, Mo./Affton) earned all-conference honorable mention honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It is the second straight year that Jujic has earned all-conference accolades, being named a second team selection last season.

Jujic was one of 11 players to receive honorable mention honors this year, along with the 11 first and second team selections. He started in 16 games this season for the Rivermen, and was fourth on the team for most points this season. Jujic played the midfield position and was the key for many of the UMSL attacks, helping control the pace of the game and control of the ball for the Rivermen. He had one goal on the year and tied for the team lead with three assists for a total of four points. His lone goal of the year was the third UMSL goal in a 3-1 conference victory over Saint Joseph’s, where he also added an assist in the first goal of that game for the Rivermen. He added assists in a game against Rockhurst and had another assist in a win over Upper Iowa.
