#4 Billikens Defeat UMSL

Rivermen Fall to Fourth-Ranked St. Louis University

St. Louis, Mo. – The UMSL men's soccer team had the task of facing the fourth-ranked team in the country in the St. Louis University Billikens, and came up on the short end of the stick with an 8-0 loss.

SLU jumped out quickly with six goals in the first half. The Billikens got the first goal ten minutes into the game off a free kick and added the last goal of the half from Will John, his third of the half, with just under 30 seconds remaining. SLU then added two more goals in the second half for the 8-0 win.

UMSL is now 0-3 on the season and will open up their home schedule this weekend when they host Benedictine on Saturday at 2 pm.
