UMSL Signs Defensive Player for Next Year

Ryan Hodge Signs to Play for Rivermen

St. Louis, Mo. –The Missouri-St. Louis men’s soccer team has signed Ryan Hodge (St. Louis, Mo./Desmet) to play for the Rivermen and head coach Dan King next season.

Hodge will be transferring from Lewis & Clark Community College, where he helped lead the TrailBlazers to a 19-2 record last season. He scored three goals and had one assists for seven points on the year as a sweeper on the defensive side. Hodge was a first team All-Conference first team selection and was selected as a first team All-Region honoree as well.

Hodge joins an UMSL team that suffered some key injuries last season, and finished with a 6-13-1 record on the season and was sixth in the GLVC standings.
