| UMSL Beats Missouri Southern in Tuneup for GLVC Reiter Scores, Adds Assist in 2-1 Win ST. LOUIS, MO. – The UMSL men's soccer team concluded their regular season with a 2-1 win at Missouri Southern on Saturday night. The Rivermen got a goal and an assist from Jim Reiter (Troy, Mo./Troy Buchanan) in the final game before the GLVC Tournament starts on Wednesday. Neither team scored in the first half, but in the second, Reiter took a pass from Chris Stockmann (St. Peters, Mo./Fort Zumwalt South) and scored at the 59:13 mark for a 1-0 UMSL lead. With eight minutes remaining in the game, Missouri Southern came back to tie the score at 1-1 with a goal at the 82:10 mark by Seamus O'Donnell. Two minute later, UMSL grabbed the lead for good as Reiter assisted on a goal by Jeff Menke (St. Louis, Mo./Rosary) for a 2-1 win. UMSL will be in action again on Wednesday, November 6, at 1 pm, when they host Wisconsin-Parkside in the first round of the GLVC Tournament.
