UMSL Improves GLVC record

Rivermen beat conference rival SIUE

Edwardsville, Ill. – The UMSL men's soccer beats conference opponent and rival Southern Illinois Edwardsville 1-0 Friday night.

The Rivermen scored the only goal of the game in the first half. Jeff Stegman (St. Louis, Mo./Vianney) passed to Jeff Menke (St. Louis, Mo./Rosary) who found the net with 16:33 on the clock. Rivermen win 1-0.

This win improves UMSL's record to 6-5-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the GLVC. The men's soccer team will host conference opponents Wisconsin-Parkside this Friday, October 25 at 5 pm and St. Joseph's Sunday, October 27 at noon.
