UMSL Completes Play at Great Lakes Regional

South Haven, Mich. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team completed play at the Great Lakes Fall Regional Tournament, finishing in 22nd place in the team standings. The Rivermen shot a team score of 627 with a 315 in round one and a 312 in round two.

Tim Swoboda was UMSL's top finisher, shooting a two-round score of 156, shooting identical 78's in both rounds. Diego Jimenez shot 157 (77-80) and Ryan Miller was one stroke behind Jimenez with a 158, shooting an 80 and a 78 in the two rounds. Matt Thomas, who is coming off two straight top five finishes, shot a 159 for the tournament, scoring an 83 in the first round and improved seven strokes for a 76 in the second round. Luigi Wewege rounded up the UMSL team, finishing with a 168 (80-88) for the tournament.
