UMSL Places 13th at Drury Fall Classic

Springfield, Mo. – The UMSL men's golf team finished in 13th place at the Drury/Deerfield Inn Fall Classic this week, shooting a two round score of 631 (316-315).

Matt Thomas was UMSL top finisher for the third time in five fall matches this year. Thomas shot two rounds in the 70s to finish in a tie for 28th with a two-round score of 151 (75-76). Luigi Wewege shot a 158 (80-78) and Tim Swoboda shot a 160 (80-80) for the Rivermen. Diego Jimemez shot a 163 (82-81) and Ryan Miller rounded out the UMSL team scoring with a 172 (81-91).

UMSL will be in action again next weekend when they host a 12-team field for the Rivermen Invitational, which will be held at WingHaven Country Club in O'Fallon, Mo., on October 9-10.
