UMSL Has Two Low Rounds at Fall Regional

Mike Lueders Places 8th Individually for the Rivermen

South Haven, Mich. – The Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team had two of its better rounds of the year at the Great Lakes Fall Regional Tournament hosted by Grand Valley State. UMSL shot a 301 in the first round and a 306 in the second round for a 607, finishing in 13th place. Those two rounds were the third and fourth best team scores this year for the Rivermen.

Mike Lueders had a strong tournament for UMSL individually, placing eighth individually with a two round score of 144. Lueders shot a 70 in the first round, putting him in a tie for second after day one, then shot a 74 to fall back to eighth place, just four strokes behind the overall winner. Ben Song and Matt Thomas each finished in 61st with identical scores of 155. Song shot 79-76 and Thomas ahot 73-82. Deigo Jimenez shot a 159 (79-80) and Ryan Miller shot a 161 (85-76) to rounds out the scoring for UMSL.
