UMSL Continues Second Round Improvement

Rivermen Shoot Ten Strokes Better on Day Two

Edinburgh, Ind. – The Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team continued their season long pattern of improving in the second round of tournaments. UMSL improved by 15 strokes in the second round of the WSU Spring Regional Tournament, shooting 325 in the first round and 310 in the second round. It marked the fourth time in four tournaments this spring that the Rivermen have improved their scores in the second round, and the third time in those four tournaments the team improved by 15 strokes or more.

Ryan Miller was UMSL's top finisher, shooting 152 (77-75) to finish in 63rd place. Matt Thomas tied for 84th, shooting a 159 (80-79) and Luigi Wewege was two strokes back at 161 (83-78) to finish 87th. J.R. Siracusa placed 89th after shoointg a 163 (85-78).
