Men's Golfers Compete in U.S. Amateur Qualifier

Leuders, Robben Make Cut for Final Round

O'Fallon, Mo. – The Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team has a couple of individuals competing in the U.S. Amateur Qualifying Tournament held at WingHaven Country Club. UMSL's Michael Lueders, a 2005 GLVC All-Conference selection, and newcomer Mike Robben were both in the field.

Lueders finished the tournament in a tie for 14th place with a two-round score of 148. He shot an even par 71 in the first round and shot a 77 in round two. Robben also shot an opening round 71 on the first day, and finished with an 82 for a two-round score of 153 and finished in a tie for 38th.
