UMSL Struggles in First Spring Tournament

Rivermen Battle Course and Weather

Leitchfield, Ky. – The UMSL men's golf team battled a tough course and tough weather conditions in their first spring tournament at the NCAA District 4 Tournament. The Rivermen placed 21st with a team score of 349.

Pat Murillo had the best finish individually for the Rivermen, finishing tied for 28th after shooting an 8-over par 80. Ryan Andrews shot an 87 to finish tied for 85th and Diego Jimenez shot a 90. UMSL's other finishers were Andrew Sullivan and Sam Wiles who each shot a 92.
