UMSL Golf Finishes 20th at Drury Invitational

Murillo, Rieke Both Top UMSL Finishers

Springfield, Mo.– The UMSL men's golf team finished 20th at the Drury Invitational in a tough field and a highly competative tournament.

The Rivermen shot a 320 in the first round, which was good for 16th in the standings after the first round. UMSL then stumbled a bit in the second round and shot a 334 for finish with a team score of 654 and a 20th place finish. Pat Murillo and Mark Rieke each shot a 158 to tie for 43rd individually. Sam Wiles shot a 166 for an 81st place finish, Diego Jimenez shot a 173 and Drew Stephens shot a 174 for the Rivermen.
