Men's Golf Places Fifth at Bellarmine Invitational

Sam Wiles Finishes 10th Individually

Louisville, Ky. – The UMSL men’s golf team struggled at the Bellarmine Invitational, which was played at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club, rated as one of the toughest courses in Kentucky. The Rivermen placed fifth in the tournament, finishing behind four other GLVC teams.

Sam Wiles was the best finisher individually for UMSL, finishing in a tie for tenth place with a two round score of 163. Scott Kirchoff finished at 169, Pat Murillo was one stroke behind him at 170 and Mark Rieke shot a 173.
