Men's Golf Fourth at GLVC Tournament

Mark Rieke Places 8th Individually

Columbus, Ind . – The UMSL men's golf team finished fourth at the GLVC Tournament with a team score of 930. The Rivermen tied with Indianapolis for fourth place, finishing three strokes behind third place Northern Kentucky. Lewis won the team event with a score of 910.

Mark Rieke was the top finisher for the Rivermen, shooting a three-round score of 230 with a 75-78-77 in the tournament to finish in a tie for eighth. Sam Wiles finished tied for 21st, shooting 75-80-82 for a 237 and Scott Kirchoff was 24th, shooting 82-78-78 for a 238 score. Other UMSL finishers were Pat Murillo, who finished 28th with a 79-77-84 for a 240, and Drew Stephens shot a 78-79-86 for a 243 and finished in 35th.
