Whitehead Named All-Conference Selection

St. Louis, Mo. – UMSL baseball played Adam Whitehead (Festus, Mo./Festus) was named a Great Lakes Valley Second Team All-Conference selection.

Whitehead led UMSL in hitting this season with a .323 batting average, with a team high 50 hits. He was second on the team with 24 runs scored and 21 RBI. He had seven doubles, a team best four triples, and tied for the team lead with two home runs. Both of his home runs came in a 13-inning win over Bellarmine, hitting a two-run homer to spark an eighth inning comeback and then hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 13th-inning for the win. Whitehead led the team with a .458 slugging percentage and was second on the team with a .413 on base percentage.
