Florida Gulf Coast got on the board quickly with two runs in each of the first two innings. Matt Tesson scored UMSL's lone run in the sixth on a fielding error. FGCU added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth and added a single run in the eighth. Jeff Luksza had two hits in the game for UMSL.
Fri., March 19	vs Westchester	L 8-5
UMSL had a 4-3 lead late in the game, but Westchester came back to win 8-5. Mike Lantzy started and took a no decision, going 6.0 innings and gave up three runs, two earned. Scott Lavelock hit his first home run of the season in the loss.
Sat., March 20	vs Minnesota-Duluth	W 3-2
Justin Laramie pitched a complete game for the win, giving up just six hits and struck out four. He gave up two runs, one earned, to pick up the win. Scott Lavelock, Mark Sanders and Jake Neely each had RBI base hits for the Rivermen in the win.
