Rivermen Win 11-2; Give Brady Career Win #500 28th-Ranked UMSL Beats 13th-Ranked Central Missouri State Warrensburg, Mo. – UMSL Head Coach Jim Brady hit a career milestone with career win number 500 after an 11-2 victory at Central Missouri State on Thursday night. The Rivermen, ranked 28th in the nation, defeated Central Missouri, who entered the game ranked 13th in the country. Central Missouri got the first run of the game in the first inning, but UMSL responded with three runs in the second to take the lead for good. Tony Grana knocked in two runs that inning with a bases loaded double for the big hit. The Rivermen then added two runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Bryan Weiss, who later scored on an RBI groundout. UMSL then put up four more runs in the next inning, as Grana and Jim Reiter each had RBI singles and Weiss had a two-run single in the inning. Central Missouri added their second run in the seventh inning and the Rivermen scored their final two runs in the top of the ninth, one of those coming on an RBI double by Logan Hughes.
