Accreditation at the University of Missouri-St Louis

Universities document their quality in many ways. One of the basic expectations is that they are accredited by a regional accrediting agency.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. This accreditation applies to all baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels. Our next scheduled comprehensive evaluation will be in 2008-09.

In addition to the university’s accreditation, almost all programs at UM-St Louis that have a national organization with specialized accreditation are accredited by that organization. Accredited Programs are updated each year in the University’s Fact Book.
