Proposing a New Program
Adding a new program in the current fiscal context requires a great deal of planning and research. A proposal for a new degree program will be scrutinized carefully by every reviewing body, including the Board of Curators and the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education (CBHE).
Proposing a new program starts with the Senate C&I Program Form (available as a PDF file). Please follow the instructions carefully.
You must also complete the CBHE New Program forms (available as a PDF file). The instructions for the forms may help you.
The System requires an expanded financial form in place of the CBHE form. Your dean will need to approve the financial pages and seek Vice Chancellor Krueger's approval before the proposal may be sent to the System.
