Graduating Seniors Future Plans Survey Administration

 

The University of Missouri – St. Louis asked seniors planning to graduate in the 2010 academic year (Summer 2009, Fall 2009, and Spring 2010 semesters) about their plans after graduation using the questions provided for the College Portrait.  This survey was conducted online.

Seniors planning to graduate were placed into an organization in the campus course management system, MyGateway.  Each student was sent an email, asking them to complete the survey.  After completion of the survey, the student was removed from the organization so that they would receive no additional reminders.  Students not taking the survey received up to two subsequent electronic communications, reminding them to complete the survey.

Of the 1,967 students eligible to take the survey, there were 922 responses.  This translates into a 46.8% response rate.
