Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences
University of Missouri-St. Louis Exchange Program in Finland
Seinajoki UAS
Finland is a high tech destination for international business students. Take your classes in English while enjoying the friendly Finnish hospitality and a nice warm sauna in your free time. |
What is it like there?
Finland is a country of open spaces, tens of thousands of lakes, numerous
rivers, peatlands and extensive forests. Although one-third of the country
lies North of the Arctic Circle, the climate is surprisingly moderate,
thanks to the warmth-bringing Gulf Stream. Seinajoki is one of the fastest growing urban centers in Finland, with a population of 56,000 in the city and 200,000 in the
region. It is well-situated for travel throughout Finland and to the rest
of Europe. English is generally understood in all parts of Finland.
