EDHEC Business School
University of Missouri-St. Louis Exchange Program in France
| EDHEC Lille
and Nice
EDHEC is one of the top business schools in France. This is an ideal program for serious business students with French language background. |
What is it like there?
EDHEC has campuses in both Lille and Nice. Lille is a beautiful city in
northern France and offers easy access to the rest of Europe. Nice is
located on the French Riviera. Both places offer terrific opportunities
for learning and tourism.
What will I study?
Your options vary depending on your French ability and level at UMSL. There are courses available relating
to business administration, strategy, finance, management, etc.
French language courses are also available. A two-week pre-session French language class is available before the fall term begins. French language classes are available during the fall and winter trimesters in the evening.
EDHEC teaches classes on the trimester system (T1 and T4 = fall trimester; T2 and T5 = winter trimester; T3 and T6 = spring trimester). Each class is worth 1 or 1.5 US credits, but meets for only 15 hours per trimester. Therefore students will take approximately 8 classes per trimester, but the workload will be similar to a full-time semester at UMSL.

the International Relations office help place you in student housing.
In Lille, you can live in the student residence for approximately 400 euros per month. In Nice, you can live in a student residence (430-560 euros/month depending on size) or rent a room in a house or apartment (400 - 500
Euros/month).
When can I go?
EDHEC is on a trimester system. Ideally, students will go for the academic
year (October - June).
What are the eligibility requirements?
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and be a junior,
senior, or MBA student.
Proficiency in the French language is also desirable.
