Map of England

What is it like there?
The University of East Anglia (UEA), located in Norwich was founded in 1963. With about 13,000 students in 23 schools of study (departments), UEA is one of the top schools in the U.K. The campus is located just two miles outside of downtown Norwich on 320 acres of parkland. Full details are available on UEA's exchange student website.

Norwich is a medieval city dating back to Saxon times. By 1066 it was one of the largest towns in England.  The city's past is felt in the cobble stone streets, cathedrals and ancient buildings. With a population of about 120,000, Norwich is also an exciting city, packed with night clubs, restaurants, wine bars, book shops, shopping and museums. The Norfolk Broads, with their miles of sailing and cruising waters, are within easy reach of the city. Cambridge is just over 60 miles away and the train to London takes just under 2 hours.
