European Integration and Business

European Integration and Business in the Capital of Europe
Strasbourg, France

Spend a month in beautiful Strasbourg, right in the heart of Europe! This program is taught entirely in English. Monday - Wednesday, students will take courses in European Integration and Business in Europe. Each Thursday will be devoted to a different industry with company visits. Students will also take a French class at the beginner or intermediate level. This program is organized by Universite Robert Schuman in Strasbourg.

European Integration course covers:
-History of European Integration
-Functioning of European Institutions
-The European Union and the World

Business Environment in Europe course covers:
-Business and Legal Environment in Europe
-Origins of Trade
-Marketing and Market Entry Strategies
-Comparative and Intercultural Management

This is a great program for students in business, political science, international studies, history, and many other majors!

UM-St. Louis students will pay UMSL tuition and earn six credits.

UMSL Tuition: $1,485.60 (Subject to change. Summer rates announced in April.)
Program Fee*: 600 Euros
Airfare: $1,100 (estimate)
Mandatory Health Insurance: $38
Meals and Personal Expenses: $1400 (depends on personal habits)

*Program fee includes: stay in double occupancy studio apartment at the Apart'Hotel Estudines Resid'home in the heart of Strasbourg, walking and boat tour, welcome and farewell dinner, company visits and lunches during visits, and internet access.

Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation:
