ESSCA European Business and Politics in Angers, Brussels, and Paris
The 5-week ANGERS SUMMER PROGRAM (ASP), taught entirely in English, offers a thorough understanding of how the European Union, and the delicately balanced cooperation between its member states, really functions. It also provides a first hand view into all the essential aspects of European business and its interactions with the United States and other regions of the globe. Students spend approximately 3 weeks in Angers, one week in Brussels, and one week in Paris. This program is organized by UM-St. Louis' partner school, ESSCA (École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers). UM-St. Louis students will pay UMSL tuition and earn six credits.

These are the actual program dates. Students should plan to arrive by June 17 and depart July 19 .
Estimated Costs:
UMSL Tuition: $1,485.60 (Subject to change. Summer rates announced in April.)
ESSCA Program Fee: 2,200 Euros*
Airfare: $1,100 (estimate)
Mandatory Health Insurance: $76
Dinners and Personal Expenses: $800 (depends on personal habits)
*Program fee includes housing and breakfast in Angers, Brussels,
and Paris; lunches in Angers and Paris; field trips, company visits,
and entrance fees; transportation between and within the three cities
(except for initial transport to Angers); and course materials.

Application Process:
Students will need to submit the following documents to the Study Abroad
Office. Forms are available online
or in the Study Abroad Office, 261 MSC. Deadline is February 22.

2. One letter of reference
3. Transcript (Use study abroad transcript request form)
4. Scholarship application and scholarship essay
Upon your acceptance to the program, additional forms will be mailed to you. You will need to complete and return them to the Study Abroad Office in a timely manner.
Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation:
All
UM-St. Louis students who study abroad are required to attend pre-departure orientation. This session will cover registration and financial aid, credit transfer, travel, health and safety topics, culture shock, and much more. Details and location.
