UM-St. Louis is a participant of the Regional Academic Mobility Program (RAMP), a consortium of universities in the United States, Canada and Mexico, formed as a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement. UM-St. Louis students studying BUSINESS or ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES may choose from a list of universities in Canada and Mexico to continue studies within their majors. For each program site, students continue to pay UM-St. Louis tuition and then choose from regular classes (primarily in business or environmental studies) at the Canadian university.
For the majority of the universities, the language of instruction in English. However, students proficient in French may choose to study at one of the universities where French is the main language of instruction. This program is a wonderful opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the language and culture of Canada, while still continuing work toward their degree.
