WebQuests

WebQuests, developed by Dr. Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University, are inquiry-oriented activities in which the majority of the information to complete the tasks are gathered from the Internet. WebQuests are useful in promoting higher-level thinking skills as opposed to researching a subject then writing a report on it. WebQuests are group oriented activities and members are assigned specific responsibilities in order to complete the project. The completed project is then displayed to the class. Most Webquests have been written by educators and encompass all grade levels and subjects. You can view submitted WebQuests by going toand clicking on "Examples".
