Dr. Garett Foster received his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2017. His research interests focus on research methodology with particular emphasis in applied psychological measurement (psychometrics). Major areas include developing non-cognitive measurement tools and techniques using item response theory and using multi-method approaches to assess employee performance and well-being. He also regularly collaborates with researchers in other fields including clinical and evolutionary psychology and biostatistics. Dr. Foster’s consulting work has focused on industrial topics with a variety of clients, including hiring and promoting public safety officers, assessing engagement and commitment of employees at a multinational organization, and analyzing data for leadership development at several Fortune 500 companies.
