Housing Options at UMSL
There are many housing options available to students at UMSL. The following links and tables provide information regarding housing.
On-Campus Housing (residence halls & apartments)
University-run, on-campus housing in either residence halls (dormitories) or apartments is offered through:
Office of Residential Life.
Campus-Affiliated Housing (apartments)
Independently-run, on-campus housing in apartments is also offered by:
University Meadows.
Temporary Housing
This is necessary for students who plan to search for off-campus housing after their arrival, or for students who are not able to move directly into their Residential Life or University Meadows room.

Off-Campus Housing
All UMSL students may live off-campus if they choose. Off-campus housing may be less or more expensive than on-campus housing, depending on the area. It is often further from campus, which can be difficult for students without cars. Off-campus housing also has additional costs, such as utilities. If you choose to live off-campus, be sure to visit the apartment before signing a lease.
