M-248: Don Hesse Political Cartoon Collection
HISTORY: This collection was donated to the Mercantile Library in 2001
SCOPE: A small collection consisting original drawings by acclaimed political cartoonist Don Hesse. For many year Mr. Hesse was the primary editorial cartoonist for the St. Louis Globe Democrat. The images in this collection are primarily from the late 1950´s and early 1960´s.
HOLDINGS: 49 boxes approximately 100 linear feet.
ACCESS: Some of the material in Special Collection M-248 may be photocopied, digitally scanned or photographed, subject to condition.
